So just got a raptor a couple weeks ago and it has navtv installed in it and my question is when I start my truck the backup camera comes on and I'm still in park, I can put it in reverse and back to park and it shuts off or just double click the rear defrost to go away. But every time I start it comes on, is this normal??

Im not sure how the NAV-TV works, but I would think it should function like the other units out there. Camera turns on in reverse, and you can manually turn it on when driving, if you have the directions I would go into the programming features and make sure it's set up correct, if you don't go online or call them for help, possible the install is incorrect.
Or you can contact, (Noah@ THE CAR STEREO COMPANY )one of the forum venders he might know the problem

Mine does that occasionally. Might be because the rear camera was on when you turned the truck off.

if you have your climate control set to auto it will cause this to happen. nav tv is aware and will be providing an update once they figure it out. it does not harm the system in any way.

Getting that update would be nice. Between this issue and the fact it screws with my navigation it gets irritating sometimes. At least hitting the defrost twice allows navigation to work again when it happens.
