I'm only at about 2,000 miles on my 35 so I the jury is still out, but I was getting upper 13s city with the Ford fake beadlocks. I just put on Venomrex wheels (significantly lighter) and through about 1/2 tank I'm just over 15 city.

My one hunting trip last month I was able to get just under 17 highway. I'll be interested to see if I can do any better with the new wheels when I go down to the coast next week.

my whole problem is I run 80-85 on the freeway and kinda have a lead foot. I try like hell to get better but lasts about a half of tank. then its all over. best I got on the freeway on a 250 mile trip was just under 16. running 85 the whole way.

This was also during a commute driving to Long Island NY during 3hrs of stop and go traffic on 95 in Gen 1 6.2L not bad considering sitting in extremely heavy traffic and the doing 80mph when not

I don’t drive it crazy either. In fact, my commute to & from work is about 27 miles (each way)…95% hwy. I’m in no hurry to get to work nor am I in a hurry to get home. So just feathering the gas pedal, I get descent gas mileage.

Now, don’t let granny mode fool you cause I will calmly exit “granny mode” if need be. ;)

Wow, is that a mix of highway/city? That's awesome
See my post above from pg 5 or something. I don’t recommend anyone do this…it’s just what I do!
