I just installed the thicker RCV IWE rings today (not the eliminator). The installation seemed to go off without a hitch but when I try to drive on asphalt and turn the wheels at full lock while in 4wd, they bind, so much so that the rear wheels will burnout because the front is so firmly unwilling to budge. If I decrease the angle of my turn it works but I can feel some resistance.
My truck rides higher with the Fox 3.0 suspension creating a steeper angle on the half-shaft. I am also running 37" tires.
Has anyone had any experience with the RCV thicker rings? Is my experience with the binding when the steering wheel is at full lock expected? Have I just never noticed this binding because when I am in 4wd I am usually in dirt where it is easier for the tires to slide more?
Any direction here would be greatly appreciated.
