What’s the big difference in the tank plate. Isn’t the raptor tank cover steel? Thanks for the info I was thinking about a set of these. They’re shop is close by.
On my 19 it's plastic. On my old f150, it was the same.

No

the issue is that they don’t cover as much as the OEM skid plates. They are at least 4 inches narrower on either side directly under the transmission and it completely exposes the cats to a sharp rock or a sharp limb.

when I compared them side by side I knew that they weren’t for me. KRAZY HOUSE, Ford Performance, Foutz all have complete coverage.

got it. was just wondering what if someone plated the whole bottom, less what would bind with suspension... would that cause a heating issue?

I am not sure, but after watching a few terra crew videos it seems that some pre runners are plated up about as you describe.

I just checked my 18 and it’s plastic as well. I wonder why they sell the oem raptor tank skid as an option. Maybe it gives a little more protection than f-150’s
