Used to put this on my old 2007 F150, but now I put it on my 2013 Raptor. For those who are unfamiliar with these campers, they are made by Four Wheel Camper in Sacramento, CA. They are tough, rugged, and lightweight. This weighs 1000 lbs. It's frame is made of welded aluminum. These campers have kind of a cult following. This is a 2012 Raven model. It is a pop-up.

Most of the time the camper is off and in my garage, but when we are ready to head out on a trip, this is how we go. To keep the rear end from sagging, I have installed an RPG stage 3. I normally run the 2.5 inch bumpstops, but use the 4.0 inch bumpstops when the camper is on. Just installed it for the first time. Planning a trip to Utah or Death Valley later this month.

You say its lightweight but then say its 1000lbs? That doesnt sound light to me.

Well, most slide in campers are made of 2X4 construction, and are much much heavier. Easily 2-3000 lbs and more. This one's base weight is 850 lbs, but I added a few options. Dual batteries, solar panel, frig and more. And, the campers made of 2x4 literally work themselves to pieces on the rough stuff. This thing is bomb proof.

VERY NICE UNIT!

Do you have a link to their website showing their construction, etc? (And cost - just curious about that as I expect it's quite spendy).

<Edit: found this: Raven Pop-Up (5.8′ Short Bed) | Four Wheel Campers $13,000!!! >

If it were mine it'd weigh a lot more than 1,000 lbs. as car camping lends itself to taking along lots of supplies.

Nice rig for sure

I figure, when loaded with all supplies, including 26 gallons of water, it's an additional 400 lbs.
