Rausch Creek Baja Course; trying to put together a group.

Ok- Met with Kyle yesterday and road thru the baja coarse. It will be set up as 2 separate tracks. They will be grooming and altering it based on feedback given during the day we run on the track-this is more of a play day. Plan is to get 10 trucks together to hit the tracks on Sunday Feb 24. The tracks are closed to regular park members 4 wheeling and there is a separate entrance- nice and clear to get in. There is a lot of potential here to set up a nice place for the raptor community to go have fun and we will be working with Kyle to get the word out and develope this area of the park. My plan is to do a nice size event once the track is ready that KHC will sponsor along with other vendors to raise more money for the wounded warrior project- Hopefully in the spring after TRR.

Details: More once I speak with Kyle

Stock to modified trucks will have no issues on the tracks.
Cost is 40 per truck and 15 each passenger (need to double check with Kyle)
No membership needed- access is only to the tracks
Each person must sign a waiver
Each person in vehicle must have a helmet on
VHF radio is recommended
Must have a spare and jack
Go at your own pace- not a race

I fly back from Boston sat eve, need to check the drive times from Annap. Does Roush creek provide helmets ?

They dont have helmets on hand so u will need to pick one up.

You are more than welcome- meeting at 830 in the main parking area.

As for the helmets they just need to be dot approved

Guys, unfortunately I'm not going to be able to make it after all. I have some suppliers coming in at the end of next week and it looks like they may stay through the weekend now.

Sorry, really want to flog the truck a bit. I'll be looking for the next one.

I don't know you, and probably not anyone else on this thread either. I also just found out about this Rausch creek track meet yesterday because I've been away from the forums and the desert for that matter for months due to work BS.

But i am personally offended and emotionally hurt that you would even consider putting work and life responsibilities in front of a good raptor flogging. Just had to put that out there.
