My first reaction was to just fill the truck up with rice. Ya know like when they put cell phones in a jar of rice that got wet to dry out the electronics? Then as I type this out I realize that it's a stupid I idea. I mean where would you get enough rice to fill up the cab? Here's hoping everything works out for you though.

Yep, $5k. They also replaced idler pulley and battery plus pulled carpet and door panels.

I'm in the process of moving but I can send over my estimates when I get a chance so you can see what's all been replaced. I sucked water in the engine but everything else looks the same. That fuse box assembly wasn't cheap and it was among one of the many things adding to my $21k claim.

As of right now I have no mechanical issues. The engine and all hard mechanics work as advertised. I am seeing some electricaal quirks, however, the interior is currently out of the truck and everything is drying. I don't have anything spliced in like I see you did/do. I read your thread and I hope things work out with your truck. I hope some good old fashion sunshine and drying time do me well. Otherwise I will have to go to Ford for my electrical issues.

Lesson learned here

This is a good lesson for the rest of us to learn from. Walking thru a large puddle does not equal the weight of our truck to determine depth of mud under foot! Sorry for your soaking hope all dries out for you.

And he has a SCab. SCrew owners watch out even more.

Sorry about your Raptor bro!

Yeah, I walked through and had a 4-wheeler go through it first. I thought I was covered. Thanks for the kind words and I am optimistic it will all turn out well.

No need to be sorry. It's a good memory. Of course I would do things differently if I could do it again, but sh*t happens.
