Im wondering if you arent turning it into long travel (as you said trying to keep it functional for daily driving) would it be comfortablr riding in a caged cab on a semi daily basis?

where do you think the lowrance will be installed? front dash above the screen display or ?

Well, of course with a cage it won't be as comfortable or as convenient as a stock Raptor, but when you deal with long travel, you just have more to pay attention to on a daily basis. I travel around a lot in my truck so I really can't see that as an option as of now.

Or the biggest reason is, I just don't have the dough for long travel at this time.

Im more curious about what you are doing for comfort i.e what kind of seats and how to increase visual for instance would you install the lowrance below the line of vision or still install it up front in the middle above the dash like it usuallu is...things like that to increase comfort.

i think its a good idea for someone who doesnt want long travel but needs protection-

Defining comfort with a caged truck for everyday used is a rough one to figure. I guess we're all different in that aspect. For instance my level of comfort is a stock seat using regular seat belts. The rest I'll deal with. I'm impractical by nature. But for off road there will be Mastercraft Pro Seats with Simpson 5 point restraints. We are designing them to be swapped.

The GPS is up in the air. I'd like to mounting right above the stock Navi again so we will figure that out.
