I am trying to research my options for a stock bumper winch plate. So far I believe SDHQ and Wicked make them. Are there any other options? I want be informed of all of my choices before making a decision.

Thanks!

Yeah, if only they'd respond to my message I sent a few days ago...

I'm having lousy luck with a couple vendors this week.

My only concern with the SDHQ mount is the strength of it... I have yet to use mine and am actually kind of nervous. If it doesnt hold, there goes my bumper...

I've never seen it in person, the pictures look pretty stout. What I'm wondering is if it could be made with light tabs for fogs on either side of the fairlead/license plate to take up that empty space. I'm sure I could rig something up, but I trust their fab skills far more than mine!!

You have yours all installed? Did you do it yourself? Hand tools and a bit of drilling? Have to pull bumper off entirely?

Ya installed mine. Lots of drilling. You have to drill your frame so be prepared. I was not prepared.

Has anyone used the Outlaw Raptor one? It says it's bolt on. I'm trying to decide if $100 difference is worth not drilling.

i have the SDHQ one sitting here, havent installed it yet (waiting on the raptor!) but the mount is very beefy. I would think it will hold up fine. Drilling a couple holes isnt too much of a hassle.

I'm probably going to go with the SDHQ one - mainly because they bother to respond to my inquiries. I've been talking to them about mounting lights on either side of the fairlead to take up that empty space you wind up with once you remove the lower grill. In Colorado I'm required to have a front plate, so I plan to use a fairlead license plate mount. This should give me about 5" of empty space on either side of the plate. They suggested using 4 small lights that put out about 860 lumens each. I've asked them about using 5" light bars as an alternative - hopefully as flush to the outside as I can so that they are still mostly unobstructed by the license plate when it's attached. I'm not sure that it will fit, but in my mind it does. Thoughts on this setup? The 5" light bars provide nearly 3,000 lumens each and I think it would look pretty decent.
