New to the forum and looking to get into a f150 soon. Was wondering what y’alls a take on the SVT Raptor vs a 19 f150 sport (warranty lift), or a new raptor is. I’m a ford salesman so I can get a discount on a sport, or used svt. We don’t ever discount raptors, or really even sell them for Msrp. Would it be worth it to buy a new raptor or just go ford a sport/svt build. I also get all parts and labor discounted, and as much as I love the new raptors interior. All the fancy gadgets are really not something I’m interested in just a nice daily driver that I can take out on the weekends and beat the hell out of it lol.

You should get a Fusion.

No, seriously, order a Raptor, just don't get all the bells and whistles if you don't like them.

I don't care what you do to a F150, until FoMoCo slaps a Raptor badge on it, it's still and always will be an F150.

I’ve been kinda thinking that lol, plus I know what trade-ins go for and a built sport ain’t worth much more than a stock one. Looks like I’m going to have to wait a few more months for a raptor!

You can attach all the "accessories" and "upgrades" you want to an F150, but at the end of the day...it looks like nothing but a money pit F150.

A raptor is a raptor.

Don't confuse the 2, or try to think you can make one into the other.

Spot on. Unless the VIN reflects a Raptor build, it's just a 'X' model F150 with a bunch of sunk costs.

You'll benefit from the lower depreciating asset value by paying upfront for the Raptor trim level.
