No I have not driven one, I have driven a highly modified Rubicon Gladiator with King shock and a Hemi motor swap, I know it's not the same Jeep but it was a lot of fun to drive.
I have also driven a Gladiator with a lift and Fox shocks and a stock one with Fox shocks.
I do have a passion for building Jeeps but I do love the Raptor
I just hope that they have fixed the electric/hydraulic steering problem that has plague so many new Jeep JL models, even new 2020 Gladiators have steering issues

The press reviews that Ive watched have made it sound like The Mojave is a night and day difference when compared to the gladiator rubicon. That makes me a little curious.
I can see how one of these on 37s might be a pretty cool option for slightly slower paced Baja runs, or as a class 4400/4500/jeepspeed prerunner with a few upgrades.
However, I think they got the price point a little "wrong" as a slightly optioned Mojave has an MSRP that is only a couple grand off from a Raptor.

I agree with you 100% My first Jeep was a 1975 CJ-5 with a 232 3 speed, My last jeep was a 2018 JLUR 4dr Rubicon with a MSRP of $52k which is insane or a Jeep. Now you can spend more on a Jeep Gladiator pickup and get less creature comforts of a Raptor at the same price. My Jeep was bought back due to steering issues that it had from day one, 4 upgraded steering stabilizers, reflash software several times, replace track bar 2 times.
Jeep had less than 2000 miles on it
The grand finale was having the steering box replaced twice. This all took place within a 9-10 month period where my Jeep was at the dealers more than at my house. I was offered a replacement or a trade or buy back, that's when the Gladiator came out and my dealer was a Jeep/Ford dealer and I feasted my eyes on a Raptor. I was bitten by the horsepower and comfort for the same money as a Rubicon Gladiator which is still a dressed up Jeep 4dr with a pick up bed on it.
AVE along with others have been making Jeep pickups for years and with a stock version all the way up to a Hemi version. Most people don't even remember what a Jeep Scrambler was
It`s comical that Jeep will bang you for $2000 for a automatic transmission meanwhile the some 6 speeds are being recalled for clutch fires at no additional cost Lol and they are still working on a TSB for it.......
Jeep is the Lego Vehicle that you can change like a Chameleon but way overpriced
I just hope my Cam Phasers get replaced under warranty 2600 mi on it

i still kick myself in the ass for not picking up a cherry CJ-6 that I came across about 15 years ago. It was a retired USMC vehicle and still had bullet holes in the side of it.
I'd still rather have an LJ over a gladiator, but the LJ prices have gone through the roof lately.

I feel your pain, I have passed up so many Jeeps that I needed my right ACL repaired twice from kicking myself in the ass LOL
There are several Military Jeeps at the Jeep Invasions that I have gone to over the years, from restored to original with even some that drove the same during the war`s that we have been involved with.
I still like going on the REAL Government Surplus sites and wanting a Jeep 6x6 for no reason at all, except when Sandy came through here which was nowhere`s near what LA went through.
I was in Shreveport way back when the Amtrack train derailed, I was servicing equipment at Georgia Pacific paper mill OOOHH that smell........
I have to add that I met some amazing people with unmatched hospitality in LA, I still touch base with them time to time

Way to F up a perfectly good thread. Say 3 Hail Mary's and spend an hour reviewing the "hot girl" thread.
We have a hot girl thread similar to Rennlist? Oh my, I should spend more time on here.
I had that passion once as well, modifying a 2011 JKUR to the tune of over $35K. In the end the tranny was unbearable (3 spd + overdrive auto), towing capacity was 3500# (very optimistic number) build quality typical to Fiat oversight.
Lots of fun over the RubiconTrail and the Dusy Trails.
The new Gladiator is no different, even in Rubicon trim, underpowered, horrible 8 spd tranny, spartan interior, and the suspension begging to be modified.
Pulling our 3500# Airstream Bambi over the Cuesta Grade always meant 1st gear with the engine screaming!

I also had a 2011 with the dreaded 3.8 with 202 hp and 237 pounds of torque at 4000 rpm in it and it was a dog/pig all in one, even with regearing it left a lot to be desired.
A few Jeep`s later I ended up with a 2015 JKU Oscar Mike 3.6 with 3.73 gears with 35`s on it and was not happy, I ended up putting a RIPP supercharger on it and it really brought it to life. The 3.6 was 260 hp and torque was 260 pounds at a screaming 4800 rpm
My 2018 JLUR Rubicon with the 3.6 paired up with 4.10 gears and a 8 speed auto. still only 285 hp and 260 pounds of torque at a screaming 4800 rpm. the gears and 8 speed auto really helped out and rolled along nicely with 35`s on it.
The 2020`s options are a 3.6 is offered with a Hybrid featuring a 48 volt belt start generator, yep a generator and pumps out 285 hp and 260 pounds of torque at 4000 rpm, a regular 3.6 with the 8 speed auto 285 hp and 260 torque at 4800 rpm. These are the same motors that are in the Dodge Ram pickup
The turbo inline 4 cyl has 270 hp and 295 pounds of torque at 3000 rpm
Now if you want some serious torque you can go with the V-6 turbo diesel that has 260 hp and a whopping 442 pounds of torque at a low 1400 rpm. It`s expensive at $4k and another $2k for the auto trans.
It`s crazy that a $50k plus Jeep will add another $1,195 for LED lights, $2k for a automatic in any model. A 3.35 gear ratio is standard along with 3.73`s only in some models and the 4.10`s in the overpriced and getting close to a Raptor. They even offer you a Sky-one touch soft top that is similar to a Pano roof for a mere $3995.!!!!
The 2021 Gladiator pickup will be available with the v-6 diesel and twill go all the way north of $70K depending on options. Sorry power seats are not standard or even a option, but you can add leather seats for $1595. the non powered side steps come in at $1050. add $1500 for the destination
You can buy just about any bolt on aftermarket item you can think of and some you can't imagine, its a Real Lego that you can tow up to
