Bags would be fine if you are keeping it a pavement princess. Pretty sure you would loose suspension travel when you take it off road with bags installed. I had no bags on my 08 F150 w/ 8" lift then i bought a toy hauler and needed bags and even with them deflated it changed the ride in the rear.

I have seen airbag cups but never read into them like these below:
My guess would be you would bottom out on them a lot faster though.

Thank you, Sir. I was thinking of adding the Riderite helper bags. just for towing if needed. Having the on board air compressor would also come in handy for other things as well.

With on board air you can then add train horns :)

For what it's worth, I have the pictured daystar cradles and have towed (our 23 foot Airstream) over 20k miles with them and the onboard compressor. I've have nothing but good things to say about the setup. You will have somewhat limited travel but for us it's a trade off we're ok with. I'm replying from my phone so attaching pics is a bit of a challenge right now. you can see a bunch of pics on Instagram though. I'm GM3SF on there. Go back a bit and you'll see pics of the onboard compressor gauge and controller.

I think it's worth noting that the tow capacity fixtures for the Raptor, in my opinion, are bunch of crap and completely attributed to just the suspension. Take a look at the numbers on a regular f150 with just the tow package and the numbers are substantially higher. In the case of the raptor, you have a tuned version of the f250 motor in it, it's 7 inches wider than that regular f150 and has substantially more tire on the ground. My thinking was if I could sure up the rear suspension, I'd be more than fine. And sure enough, it tows our trailer (about 6,000 lbs) as if it weren't even back there.

Also has stronger axles, frame and drivetrain than other F150s.

Yeah the list would go on and on. I've even towed with the trailer and our two motorcycles in the truckbed and it didn't feel a bit different than with just the trailer.

Towing

I got a result! Ford just updated the U.S. website to match its Canadian website. The Raptor SuperCrew is now listed with a 14,250 pound GCVW.

The number now add up. You will reach the 14,250 pound GCWR in your Raptor SuperCrew if you take into account the 10% tongue weight of the 8000 pound trailer. The tongue weight is considered payload capacity. GVWR of 7,050 + 8,000 pound trailer - 10% tongue weight = 14,250 lbs.

Considering the SuperCrew has a base weight of 5694 pounds without options, you had better pack light, skip breakfast and plan on being alone in the truck if you actually expect to tow 8000 pounds in a fully loaded SuperCrew Raptor and remain under the GCWR.

Sorry to bore everyone with numbers. I realize the Raptor isn't a tow vehicle, but Ford's specs on the U.S. website were incorrect. I can sleep now.

Good info

Any updates?

Have you tried towing? I have same trailer and a 2600 lb m3. I really don't wanna do anything beyond stock to the truck.

I don't have my truck yet. I am curious to know if anyone can tell me the weight of a fully loaded Screw w/sunroof and a full tank of gas. I'm interested to know how much payload capacity I'll have remaining without me or any gear in the truck.
