ever thought about powder coating the stock?

The thought crossed my mind. But to be honest, I'd rather pay a bit extra and have it all done at once. I've gone that road before, and I just don't have the time to have the wheels taken off, take them to have them powder coated while my truck sits on jack stands, pick the wheels up from the powder coating, etc, just to save a few $$$. By the time I buy the new wheels and sell my old ones to help cover some of the cost, it would almost be awash.

I had some calipers power coated red on an old 350Z. It was fun, but I was younger and had more spare time. Now I just want to drop it off somewhere and pick it up all done.

wasn't so much to save a few bucks. It was to get rid of the whole debate on backspacing, rubbing, etc. That's the only reason I will stick with stock. I plastidipped mine until I can get these to a decent powdercoater.

Oh, got it. I've debated putting the new tires on the stock wheels. I've read that works. Color is one reason, but the slightly wider stance is another reason I'm considering the Methods. Them sticking out 1.3" more appeals to me. I read somewhere that 0mm offset was the most they'd recommend as still being able to fit without causing problems.

I'm going to give it a shot. Worst case I'll have the tires mounted on the old wheels and reinstalled if the new wheels rub too much and I can't find a quick fix.
