Does anyone have a recomemndation for a company to ship from Ohio to California. Just closed a deal on a 2018 802a SCAB in Ohio. Decided to go 2018 over waiting for my 2019 allocation to get pulled on an 801a after seeing them show up without the "productivity" better dash screen.

*Side note, would up getting the 2018 802a with beadlocks for the same price as the 2019 801a and no beadlocks. Win/Win.
Hi buddy, be very careful when choosing a company because my brother’s car was scratched because of the irresponsibility of one company. The fact is that he bought two Hummer H2 and he had to transport the cars from a factory in China to the United States, to Illinois. He used the services of a little-known company and as a result of a storm, the car was scratched on the side of the ship on which the cars were re-purchased. As a result, the company refused to pay the damage and my brother stopped using their services. Recently, I also needed to move my car and I decided to take a1autotransport.com services. This is one of the most reliable transportation companies in the USA and I am very pleased with their work.

You could try putting quote requests on Uship or Citizenshipper sites. I had a boat transported from ID to SC and saved a ton over the dealers trucking company option. Have to be careful that you pick someone that is insured/bonded though.

I just shipped my Superlite Coupe from Louisiana to Connecticut thru Stewart Transport (enclosed trailer) and was 1650 miles $1800. I also shipped the same car from Michigan to Louisiana which was about 300 miles less for $1300 thru the same company. I recommend them for sure, as for Todd if you call. Prices you got are definitely a good rate. Whatever transport you use, make sure they're licensed and bonded.

When it gets shipped back to me completed from Connecticut, I think this time I'll use Innercity. Mainly because of the trucks they use so no ramps are used to get on/off the truck and the SLC is extremely low.

I was in similar boat as you beginning of November. I found my Audi S7 in Las Vegas and couldn't pass it up. Flew out there and drove it home 1550 miles. 3 days of easy solo driving, zero regrets doing it. Very happy I decided to purchase that car and drive it back.

your SLC is awesome. I've always admired those, the type 65 coupes and the GTM Supercar. They all look like really fun cars to build.

on topic, most shipping companies want to charge BIG money to haul a truck with a mid-travel kit on it due to the width.

I opted to buy a Super Duty and a trailer, as the trailer was less than round-trip shipping my truck once.

Yes, the Super Duty costs a bunch more, but I legitimately recoup $4K of my super duty cost with each trip out west.

And besides, I needed a chase rig platform anyway. I blew up my ROI by ordering suspension upgrades for it. ( which I'm waiting for now.)
