Fish Creek Wash turns into Hapaha Flat Road as the canyon narrows approaching Pinyon Drop-off. Here's a map showing Fish Creek and you can follow our path as we left Split Rock Road, drove on Fish Creek Wash and ultimately to Hapaha Flat Road.
Further up Hapaha Road you can see Pinyon Drop-off where we heard that Jeeps were coming down. Later on we saw some emergency vehicles that, we can only assume, were headed up to the base of Pinyon Drop-off to help one or more injured people in that party.

You can see some of the very steep canyon walls (note that they appear to be mostly sandstone with all sizes of rocks mixed in):
We believe that it was on Hapaha Flat Road that they found Mickey Guidry's blue Jeep (see thread on this missing 16-year old boy)
