By the way, when we went out as a group into Nellis Dunes, Ford had a photographer taking pics and videos of the 17 of us Raptors. They should have some excellent stuff from our run.

I got an email from Mike at Ford...

Dan - Sorry for the delay. Work has been hectic as we are prepping for wholesale and our end of month business.

I'm glad the Round Up was well received. You and the SVTOffroad group were a large part of making the event successful. We are waiting on the photos and videos from our social media folks and the helicopter crew from VORE. The initial data back to Dearborn was positive, and we are hoping for continued support for events like these in the future.

I'm taking the blue Raptor home tonight - I have a much deeper respect for the truck after the Round Up.

Thanks and have a great day.

Mike

Thanks for staying in touch with Mike, Dan. I was hoping to spend a bit more time talking with him at the Roundup, but the guy was flat out busting his tail every time I looked over. He's definitely one of the reasons it went off so well I think.

Really looking forward to the Ford/VORE pics and vids!

WoW! All the vids and pics posted of this event pretty much humbled anything we could ever hope for in Canada. Thanks for all for sharing the pics and the vids!

Hah funny stuff. Those few of us who did break off were herded back by VORE within minutes. Wasn't till they got the group pic at the end that they gave us the salute and took off, leaving us to our own devices.

Hell... they should have followed us after, when Mark took us 'out there'. That run where I lost my gas filler door would have had them puckerstuck to their seats if they tried to keep up in that heli.
