6isntenough & I left early AM this past Friday for the Silver Lake, MI meet this past weekend and on the way into Michigan we stopped in to visit a few fellow Raptor fanatics...
.... At Ford Racing & SVT headquarters!
The Ford Racing staff and the SVT Raptor program manager & engineering staff took time out of their busy day to shoot the shit with a couple Raptor owners and give us an acute insight to the Raptor program as well as allow us to crawl all over and inside some of their toys. It was one hell of a morning!
Here are a few of the pics taken with their permission.
The quarter of a million dollar, built completely from scratch Ford Racing Raptor:
6isntenough doing a proper seat fitment test
Got Focus RS8?
The back lot at Ford Racing
According to the Ford Racing staff this is the absolute coolest car in the lots and gets all the ladies... dunno about that one.
6isntenough getting his Ford GT orientation
On to SVT headquarters where they rolled out the red carpet and some engineering trucks for us to check out:
the '13 Option wheels with removable ring.
The '13 wheels with the Ford Racing beadlock installed
6isntenough checking out SVT's in house engineering support truck that follows test trucks around and serves as mobile service garage.
got RPG?
And to finish off the morning we stopped at the Henry Ford to take the Rouge factory tour.
The Raptor, minus it's iconic good looks
