First thing that had to go was the giant Antenna. I went to PEP boys looking for a license plate cover and came across a nice black aluminum stubby antenna. For 13 bucks couldnt go wrong.

About 4". Reception is good on it too. Still picks up HD radio just fine.

I like my whip. Tells me when I'm about to enter a parking garage that's too low, plus you can always take it off and beat homeless people with it.
