What's the guess on added weight - easily over 500 maybe 1000lbs not including people - what's the payload on the truck

Per their shipping weights: 145 for the base rack, 85 for the tire carrier add-on, and 65 for the roof rack add-on (total of 295lbs). Assuming you just relocate the spare, no additional weight for that (or about 100lbs ish if you add another OEM spec spare). Not including light bars and such.

Note: I'm just looking at ADDs shipping weights, I'm sure they can clarify what everything weighs if they differ significantly.

Ouch $5500 + lights lol

The weight listed on our website is shipping weight, actual product weight will be a little less. The roof portion is aluminum so that saves a lot of weight. The roof portion is also optional, this full rack comes in 3 stages. Base, roof portion, & tire carrier.

That roof portion 'looks' to have way too little clearance. Just seeing that I'd be concerned on the flex of the bed and the cab and the roof rack hitting the cab....

IAnd while I like the idea of the decked system it's a lot of weight (and cost) and because of that, on a truck like the Raptor, it's not (again IMO) a good solution for storing items. I wouldn't hesitate to have such a system on a standard pickup or Super Duty but I'd probably make my own - a lot less costly, more fun to do and very custom.

In regard to drawers and storage - here's information that some folks will be interested in...

Post up your drawer/storage system - Expedition Portal

Not sure where your getting the weight concerns, the Decked system for the Raptor is 200 lbs. That's pretty light compared to many others and then it supports up to 2000 lbs on top of it. The Truck Vault depending on setup and such starts out at 330 lbs. Even if you built your own you'd be hard pressed to have the strength without even more added weight. I looked into ball bearing slides, piano hinges, marine grade plywood and carpeting, weather seals....well that becomes a lot of weight and cost, then I wanted to be able to haul the 4 wheeler/other heavy items on top.

Then the pricing concerns, I researched a bunch prior to getting the decked, even considered building my own. Decked offers a lot of value for the $. Compare to other drawer systems and then get weatherproof, plus can park 4 wheeler on top. Yet to find someone that even competes...

I love my Decked system - store the shotgun(s) depending on how many people I am hunting with, shells, recovery gear, high lift and bottle jack, spare coats, bird vest, electronic dog collars and more.

The roof has rubber feet that allows the front to sit on the roof

Thanks, although long term I'd be worried about the paint at those points.

How's wind noise? How is it at freeway speeds?

My point is you've added 200 lbs. for the system BEFORE ANY WEIGHT of the items you're going to carry.

My point was a Decked System or a DIY Build-Your-Own system makes a lot more sense in a "regular" pickup truck like an F150 or Super Duty that are designed to carry a lot more weight.

I like the Decked system even though I think it's big $ it is a quality product. And I'd not add that kind of weight to my Raptor before I even load it up. But that's just me and how I use my truck.

Post up some pics!

Payload considerations - good point, still feel bad for those who buy a Power Wagon.

Last pic to the right notes : this is best one I had with Decked and Tire Gate System and 4 dog kennels on top.
1. The larger outer kennels are actually up on platforms so I could get them to interlock the best way with the others. The lower center kennel (medium) sits directly on top of the Decked system.
2. The Tire Gate rack is now lower. This was the first setup they sent me and after I complained about the height they realized they sent me the F250 pillars. You'll see in the other pics it was changed to the shorter pillars. Luckily only a slight mod to the interlocking kennels to get the shorter arms to work.

With this setup I have two spare tires as I left stock spare underneath. Will try to get another pic with tailgate down, but that was the best I had avail.

Other notes - personally not a fan of most chase racks - already a short bed and tire(s) in bed take up too much space. Want the truck to still be a truck and not have to unload a bunch of stuff to use the bed. While the decked system does take up bed space, still leave room to haul things and with the top interlocking system, or tire gate (wilco) rack, or bed rail sides, still gives tie off points.

So my Black truck got built last week and is due at the dealership in a couple of weeks. same dealership just got this LF today, and I think it looks great. They'll let me swap into it if I want it. It has a sunroof that I'm not crazy about and I'd unsticker it, but neither is a deal breaker. Trying to figure out what color I like better and will go better with all the bumpers, racks, light, etc..
