The interior looks no more classy than the raptor only difference is the centre armrest and that's a 70$ upgrade.

Raptor is just as luxurious as a Platinum. Do more off roading.

Plus, Raptors just LOOK bad ass. I'm talking stock. Then you start upgrading??? Forget it!! Who's ever said "damn that's a bad ass Platinum"?? I can't recall hearing that. But you know what I do hear? "That's a bad ass Raptor! I wish I got that instead of my FX4"

Get the Raptor and don't look back

Nobody ever modifies their Raptor to look like a Platinum, FX4, Lariat, XLT, etc....

What business are you in?

I am in sales also. One of the top reasons for me purchasing the Raptor was because of the WoW factor people have when they see it. For me, when I go to new sites, it is another way to start a conversation and build rapport when I pull in a Raptor. I learned this very early on, "You only get ONE chance to make a FIRST impression." I have landed 3 new sales within the last month with the help of the Raptor. Every time I land a new sale, I let the customer take it for a minimal drive. Just so they can experience the true AWESOMENESS of driving the "BADDEST PRODUCTION TRUCK ON THE ROAD." Some customers love it some have other preferences. Either way I agree with them. The customer is always right! :grd:

The difference between a Raptor and a Platinum is about 8 inches in the Raptors favor. Do you want to be Mr. Jones, or John Holms? If you want to be Mr. Jones you will always be keeping pace with your neighbors, but if you want to be John Holms you will always be in good favor with the ladies. Don't get me wrong there certainly are more disadvantages to being Mr. Big ****; you're male neighbors HATE/envy you, and you're lap times in your local swimming hole drop considerably because your caring around a ******* anchor.

I just figure as a salesman you'd be better off putting asses in seats and the Raptor has a way of doing that.
