It isn’t just FRF, there’s an edit limit or option for edit limit built into at least 2 (other) forum type software I know of. I moderate on another forum and had to do this for the Torque Arm group buy.

Which is why you’ll see some sellers reserve the first 2 or 3 replies for themselves when selling a large number of items. That way they can move from post 1 to post 2 after they’ve reached the max edits and keep their list at the beginning of the post.
