Cool deal. Should be a Great time. Get all your gear and come on out
I have been on some of these trails and there are some slow rocky parts, all out fast graded roads, nice whoop section, but watch out for some of the sandy sections. Tee hee

Maybe I can try making some future events. Problem for me is I'm all the way in LA. I will be making the TRR though and running if I can get rear frame kit equipped by then. This trip sounds like some fun, try n take vids/pics for us newbies wanting to get in on the action for future events!
Thanks, be safe!

Flying into Vegas on Thursday. My navigator is picking my truck up at Outlaw and meeting me in Vegas.

Hotel info: We are staying at the Hard Rock. Connor has sent out a link to make your reservations at the group rate. You do need to be registered for the event to get the link. I counted 16 on that email.

For those of you staying at SEMA, my suggestion is to leave your bags at the HR while we spend Saturday night away. Pack only an overnight bag for the run. Less shit to go flying around your vehicle. Personally, I kept my room at the HR on Saturday night for a couple of reasons. 1. I do not want to pack everything up. 2. Less weight in the truck.

My schedule is as follows
Thursday: Arrive in Vegas, get checked in, make use of amenities.
Friday: Wait around for everyone else.
Saturday: RUN!
Sunday: RUN!
Monday: Shelby Museum visit
Tuesday: SEMA
Tuesday Night: Guns N Roses
Wednesday: Recover from Tuesday night
Thursday: Fly home.

What can you expect on the run this weekend, you ask?

How about this:

High-Speed Dirt Roads
Low-Speed technical rock crawling
Narrow Canyon Trails
Wide-Open flats
Whoops
Washes
Rock Gardens
Narrow, below-grade carved trails
Joshua Tree Forests
High-Elevation Pine Forests
Dry Lake Beds
Elevation change from BELOW Sea Level to 7500-feet, on the same day
Powerline Roads
Wide, Sweeping Turns (Drift Heaven)
Opportunites for 4-wheel Air with smooth transitions
Sandy Hill Climbs (4-wheel drive may be required)
Dirt, Sand, Shale, Rocks, Salt, Gravel, Boulders
Breath-Taking Views (Some at High Elevation)
Wild Burrows
Wild Humans (Ask the last Land Rush participants)

And More...

Bring your cameras, Monster Energy drinks, and prepare for and un-matched experience that you'll NEVER forget!
