Just got home. Wow what a weekend! Had a great time and met some cool people. Friday nights run was really fun but the dust was terrible. Today trip back south was a lot of fun. Had to call it quits early to help out Gordon (E63) but still had a blast.
Met up with Connor and Gordon in RSV1 on the 15 later in the evening. That truck is so badass.
Can't wait to do another trip like this

Just got back, that was one long ass trip back. Worst was when it cut out in victorville where there was no e lane, luckily it was one of the quicker restarts (in less than a minute). Many required 10 min for the truck to cool before going again. At least we were able to get home under our own power. 1 flat early on Sunday (G junior driving),

Trip was a lot of fun, the desert is magnificent when the sun is both setting and rising, evening when the dust was suspended by inversion layers highlighted by our lights was epic. Sat early am was great except for occasionally waiting. good times. no carnage, not even any flats on the first day with 16 trucks. At least none that I know of, Sunday not so much. First time ever I was unable to finish a run. How ironic with all the intense night driving and technical rut run this morning that some electrical bug takes me out .

Shout out big thanks to Ranger Rob and his trusty sidekick Denny for hanging with us, to make sure we got off the trail and 1/2 way home.

Thanks to Gordon B for organizing.

thanks Dispatch for organizing hotel!

Conner, you have insane driving skills and RSV1 is amazing, best time ever on four wheels.

It was great to meet so many (new to me) Raptor enthusiasts. :burnout:

We made it home, nearly murdered a little black Prius on the way, but we made it home

The thing was sitting in the middle of the fast lane with absolutely no lights on, my friend was driving and didn't see it until it was at the edge of the headlights (i was telling him to watch out before hand cause i could see some kind of black form on the highway out of range of the headlights) and he was just able to turn in time to avoid it, oh well, it wouldn't have been the biggest bump we hit all day, lol

The trip was Great in so many ways, would had love to finish the second day but with my mechanical issues and the fact that I had no more spares I felt it was the safe thing to do. Knowing i still had another 300 miles plus to get home. Left Victorville around 5:00 stopped once to eat at the base of the grapevine got home around 11:30. I will be better prepared next I'll bring ten spares and at least two more sets of rear shocks haha. I don't thing anyone could have asked for more verity in styles of off roading from night to day, slow technical to fast drifting.

My thanks to Gordon and everyone that had invested there time to make my trip such a fun time.

O ya we weren't freezing our asses off playing follow the leader.

Great run yesterday, a lot of carnage and flats, but fun nonetheless. Thanks Gordon and everybody else involved in another successful run. I'm ready for the next one.
