Looking forward to seeing you and your lady at the run too. It will be an experience - my first time offroad at night.

My wife isn't coming she's a little afraid of what we do. She asked me the other day when was I going to repair my truck from the last trip I told her it would be done before the night run, then she stated so I could go break it again, followed by "why". My reply was so I can find the next weakest link only to make it stronger.

So you wont drive from Vegas to Victorville to make the night run. It's going to be fun you shouldn't pass it up !

Glassman, Thats understandable. I used to think the same way until I actually drove the Raptor. Then things just clicked for me somehow. Even with a Taco and a SUV capable of offroading I never felt that interest. Now, my thoughts are sort of similar to yours- except that I hope I don't break anything. So, she will be missed- nice talking to her while we were on the toy run.

I didnt realize Victorville was the starting point. That would work.

Hotel Room Booked!

Strange thing happened to me last night. Raptor would not turn over. Like it was starved for fuel. a neighbor had an OBDC diagnostic tool and we checked for DTCs - none. Now I am stuck in an under ground parking garage. Called AAA, told them where I was, wait and hour and they send a Flatbed, no way it is getting in there, wait another hour for smaller rig, he gets in with about an 1" to spare, but no way he can hoist me. Turns out he has a Raptor and F250 owner, told me to tap the Gas tank with hammer while he cranked the engine. Worked like a charm.

So now what? Take it to the dealer-rip? At least I know how to fix. I think it is dust getting in.
