Naah Raptor1, the amazing part about it is that he is absolutely serious. <G>

I nominate Magic Mountain Dan be designated "Nicest Dude on the Forum" and be awarded a tiny toy Raptor, Tuxedo Black in color. And a big "Harumph" from everyone!

My wife got me one of the matchbox trucks. Now when anyone askes if I got my truck yet, I can say yes! And sometimes I even show it to them.

SH.. I would even let you drive mine, yes it is a Raptor. But it is only a truck in the end and that is why i have great insurance on all my vehicles. Hey I also found them on Ebay for like $3.99 in a 1.64 scale.

Update:

Our son opened a couple of these and we noticed some differences between the Easter Egg and the Match Box Raptors.

Match Box Raptor top and Easter Egg Raptor bottom. The paint on the Match Box seems closer to the Molten paint job on a real Molten Raptor. The Easter Egg Raptor is more redish. The Match Box Raptor also has the black fender well moldings.

The Match box (left) has the black hood vents and sun roof.

The Match Box Raptor has the spare tire in the bed much like a Baja truck.

Even the under chassis is different : Match Box bottom

Thanks,

I've also asked Hotwheels (HWC.com) about making a Raptor but haven't heard back yet. When I get some time I'm going to run it by Johnny Lightning as well.

Not even a granite countertop can stop Raptors...

You KNOW that these models are supposed to be customized by the buyers to look like their vehicles, right? :) Some masking tape, paint and you've got yourself a baby Raptor ready for display on your Raptor's dash :D

And those black wheel openings on the Matchbox have to go. Every Raptor owner knows they're gray!
