The sad thing is all these dealers marking up 15K over MSRP still sell their allotment and in many cases are buying from other dealers just to keep raptors and gt500's on their floor. Sad.

I actually agreed with your original comment/sentiment. Don't give these guys any airtime. I can't fault dealers for selling over MSRP if they have people willing to pay it. That's capitalism baby.....

yeah, giving them airtime is not what we want to do, but i think its more important to let potential owners know of our past experiences. that way when they are shopping for a price, they can completely disregard these dealers with high markups.

Vista Ford in Woodland Hills, CA (San Fernando Valley) expects $3K - $5K over MSRP. Other than that, they're very nice people.

North County Ford in Vista CA is another one. Lowest they went on a 2010 loaded SCAB was 44K, and they had no new ones and only did not even mention ordering one. Run like the wind from North County Ford, run fast, run long, run deep, but run away.

Their internet sales team agreed (via email) to match the $250 over invoice quote I got from another dealer and then after wasting my time for a week+, said, 'Sorry, that's too good of a price, we can't meet it'.

Typical ****** car salesman garbage...
