Thanks for sharing the details. Are they relative to front or rear shocks,
Is there a model number on the shock that would help someone know what they have?

The 5.4 SCREW shim stack is same front and rear. It has a smaller what I call the piston plunger. Prob not the technical name but never said we were LOL.
2010-11 screw caps have no writing on them. Somewhere in middle 11 I am guessing they started engraving lot numbers on them. So 11 up you can see production batch number.
Funny part is if you order a replacement screw cap, they have no codes on the top of them. They are also what they call "b" seal kit. Has the lower square seal as noted in the C versions.
To clarify the ABC above. There is 2 shock versions with only the 5.4 SCREW having the odd shocks. All the rest are same shock. There are 2 seal kits with the only difference being the lower seal.
The ABC is how we note them when we work on them as it makes the most sense to us. Those are not FOX ID's.
MORE NOTES:
Front shocks obviously wear out faster.
Shocks can be "shot" with no signs of leaking.
Depending on use, front shocks can be "blown" as you hit so hard the snap ring that holds the IFP is knocked out of place and allows fluid to seep into the nitrogen chamber. You would not know as shock could have no visible weeping signs.
