2012 can be flat towed

Turn truck on (run position, dont start)
Place transmission in neutral
Turn drive selector from 2h to 4l and back to 2h (5 times within 7 seconds)

Truck can be flat towed..
To return to normal drive mode, place shifter into park.

That information was from back in April 2013 when they made the special announcement...

I had made the corrections to reflect the 'build and price' section of the Ford website.

Thanks again for pointing that out, I love the ideas/suggestions this thread gets.

Maybe this isnt the place to add it however; can we add some of the "non published/less obvious" model year changes? I know there were rear axle changes in 2011 and then again in mid 2012. I have seen some electronic changes over the years with the flat towing, traction control/power breaking etc...

Noticed the roof is different between the 2012 and 2013. The ridges in the 12 dent inward (collecting water when it rains), the 13 ridges protrude upward.
I think someone has a picture of this.
