My inclinometer at Raptor Assault said 32 degrees on the side hill obstacle. I don't think that was the largest number seen that day. I remember walking away thinking "If the inclinometer says anything 30 degrees or lower, I am perfectly fine."What degree angle can you get up to when side-hilling the Raptor?
Until you hit a bump that would be nothing on the flats and it pushes you over the tipping point. Which is probably at least 40 degrees, probably more.My inclinometer at Raptor Assault said 32 degrees on the side hill obstacle. I don't think that was the largest number seen that day. I agree. Changing the scenario changes the outcome.Until you hit a bump that would be nothing on the flats and it pushes you over the tipping point. Which is probably at least 40 degrees, probably more.
I could see how one football sized rock when you are leaned over like that could really ruin your day!Old fart, glad you had fun! It was a good time for me as well. The sidehill obstacle was crazy but as Gordojay and Dynozr said, hitting a rock hidden in the grass on a side hill like that would completely change the scenario!
Nice, big difference from what the track looked like last week! We got really lucky with perfect high 70's and sunny weather.Old Fart....that is the same truck I have back in March. It was a blast, even with the snow and Baja track being a sloppy mess. Would do it again and again...I did find a Raptor Rally here in Texas, but found out too late. It is in early May.
