How late in the day does it go? Hoping to make an 8pm flight out of SLC.

I booked my flight around 10pm to make sure I'd make it but someone posted on FB that they were done by 5pm and he was at the airport by 6

Going in May. Pretty pumped. A little different than the mud flats of MN. LOL

My flight got cancelled due to a a shortage of crew and I got stuck in Salt Lake city so it will be a while until I can post a write. However I thought of a couple of little tidbits that I foind out about my raptor.
1. No plans to have the diff lock in 2wd. With the increased power and torque Ford deemed locking the rear in 2wd would lead to shredded diffs.

2. Hill descent is badass. The had us go over a 30 degree decline with both feet on the floor with just hill descent on and we crept down at a crawl. It kicked ass. Apparently is also works in reverse and in mud.

3. When you clean the front windsheild it also sprays and cleans the front camera. When everything is covered in dust and mud and yoi need to use the camera for crawling yoi have no idea how convenient that is.

4. When using baja mode and the whole field is covered in dust, your parched and you need a/c dont forget to turn the recirculator. Dont ask me how I kn I know what happens and you dont. I know, it should be common sense. Sue me lol!

5. Trust you truck. I had no idea how capable this thing is until I took the class or how intuitive the driving modes are.

Thats it for now. I will try to get some video up in the next 24 hours.

I haven't taken the class yet, but I can say first hand how awesome the hill descent is. When over a pretty steep rocky hill here in San Diego and the think just navigated itself perfectly. I had to do some minor steering, but it just crawled it's way down...then threw it in Baja and took off...haha

Haha, it's behind my work in Poway...actually dinged up the running boards a little, but oh well. It's no MOAB, but the heavy Socal rains did a good job of rutting everything up...haha

Thanks so much for sharing! Looking forward to more details when you have time....

How was it swapping drivers? Did you feel like you had enough seat time?

Sure did but I would do it again tomorrow if they let me.

BTW, here is a video I was able to upload for you guys. I was able to hit over 70mph twice.
