I misread your original post - I thought you said it wouldn't be your daily driver but instead a weekend/fun vehicle.
As a 100 mile a day, daily driver, it might not be the best choice. Find a cheap, fuel-efficient car for your daily commuting duties?

Yeah. I am actually thinking about purchasing vw diesel golf used for around 3k as my DD but I will definitely need to drive truck to work frequently as I drive out to oil field regularly.

Love my Raptor as a daily driver, on long road trips, and for taking the kids to-from sports! The SCREW has plenty of room for my two Linebacker size kids and gear. I place the entire luggage for a family of four in the bed under a BakFlip F1 and newer worry about the environment getting in.

I bought my Screw for many reason, but one was to be able to haul all the crap that comes along with two young kids. We're leaving for Disney in 4 weeks, and I wanted enough room to bring everything we need. I love it as a DD, and it's awesome for road trips, camping and so on.

It came with a spray in liner, which I would have done anyway, and I bought a Bakflip F1. I now have more frickin' lumens out front than I'll ever need, so be wary of the addiction of auxiliary lighting!

I use my Raptor as a daily now and love it. I look for excuses to go drive it! SCrew with a tonneau cover is definitely practical!

Haha no doubt, the envy of every parent!

Quick story, we were at a stoplight this summer and there were two dudes in a Minivan right beside us...so my oldest, who is 10, yells out the window to the minivan and says..."hay do you and your boyfriend want to race my dad"

The two dudes were livid and I started laughing out loud...of course that was not the fatherly thing to do...

Jake said he saw some guy on TV do it to a cop...
