I guess I'm going to have to get the Moroso ones. One for each side of the shock towers.
It may even out the look of the two sitting on each side of the engine bay!
I haven't even looked if their is room on the drivers side, I have the Whipple so the overflow tank does get push back over the shock tower.

I am a little curious as to why everyone is happy with only taking care of one side.

Maybe people think the two heads are connected with the intake manifold like on some 60's through 80's style stock intake manifold,
If you have ever worked on these old engines like I used to, this is that port that always was caked up with dried up burnt oil.
These are the ones with one breather cap on one side and one PCV valve on the other.

Also this proves the point that negative pressure on both sides works
and one of many benefits is that over time oil will not bleed through the valve cover gasket and start making a mess and smell.

So after my last post I went to my Whippled Raptor to take a quick look and I pulled the vacuum hoses off to see something.

Now, I have the one hose coming from the passenger side going into the Whipple compressor behind the throttle body
and the one coming from the drivers side is going into the throat of the compressor before the TB.
There is a noticeable difference in suction from these two locations.

Now I wonder if the one in front of the throttle body is acting like a breather cap?

I think I'm going to have to do some more research as the flow of these to valve cover ports and what they are supposed to do.

I will send an email to Whipple and see what answer they have as to the function of these two ports in my case.

Maybe if someone could check a stock engine and see if they come up with the same situation.

It could be, we need only the one? Just guessing now.

I do know that after 12 months with the Whipple on, my TB blades are clean! So I don't know what to think.

I believe the one before the TB is the one to pull air into the PCV system from the air tube and the one behind the TB is the one pulling air out of the PCV system into the compressor. Atleast that's how it is with the Whipple on my Mustang.

Consequently, I only needed an oil catchcan on the the one pulling the air out of the PCV system (drivers side on the Mustang).
