Just "fired the missile" (aka sent email) to my salesman. The email explained critical items that I hope he puts to good use. The gauntlet has been laid in a professional manner. I hope things start turning around AND FAST!

Just recieved a call from the Ford investigator looking into my case. He told me that my Raptor is still in Dearborn waiting on inspection. He said all trucks get inspected and it can take up to a month. I told him this was complete BS. I asked how trucks built after mine are being delivered already. He said the dont inspect the trucks in the order of production. I feel like I am talking to PEGGY! I am pretty sure the trucks are inspected as they come off the line. I wish people would just tell the truth. I can handle the truth but the made up BS excuses have got to stop. I respect Ford for not taking bailout money but they really need to get their shit together. Guy said he would call me next Tuesday with another update.

Build date was 1/4 by the way. Must be one hell of an inspection process.

I also have some ****** updates. First, my dealer basically said good luck and go to Ford directly for any free perks bc its a Ford problem...not the dealer problem. Dammit, I am the dealers problem and they better jump on my behalf with Ford when I land at the dealer. Strike 1.

Next, I am still told by the dealer no info is avail and basically back peddling. They know they've got me hooked already bc I signed the contract 1/15/12 based on the 1/23 scheduled arrival. Now there is a strong chance my payments will begin and my tag will have a late fee BEFORE I EVEN TAKE DELIVERY! Strike 2.

Next, I called SVT today (had to do it) and got similar info to Spek. The gentlemen cordially explained my Raptor status. Side note, based off the info I just heard and Spek being told he would have an update next Tuesday....we will only get updates on our trucks every Tuesday. So hurry up and wait for next Tuesday to arrive again...****! So I'd count on at least another 2 weeks before our trucks arrive. Strike 3.

This messes me up on so many levels personally, work wise, and even for my dying father battling stage 4 terminal cancer who still doesn't have a reasonable vehicle to drive to/from his docs for chemo/radiation bc I still have his car and he wants me to keep it with no questions asked (he's an old vietnam Marine vet) until mine arrives!!!!!!! I think Dad is holding on to the feeling him and I had when we bought his last Ford truck from same dealer in '97 and/or share the new car moment with me his son (living vicariously thru me) since he cant be there with me in person @ delivery.

Not looking for sympathy or ass kissing.....just wanted to share. This sucks.

I am now going into official "battle mode" guys. Until I re-surface, I will be in my Fox Hole until the dust from the shit cloud I will eventually lay on someone settles back to earth.

Were you ever able to confirm whether your truck was on a train or not? I was told mine had a railcar on 1/7 but there were never any updates. Then I was told it never made it on a train. This bogus inspection thing makes me worry that something happened to the trucks that needed to be fixed. I would hate to think we have repaired trucks before we ever get to drive them. The more I talk to the Ford reps the more I think they need continuing education. My Ford rep would make a great press secretary for the current president. Please keep me updated as I feel our trucks are connected in this mess. My next update is 7 days away. I could drive from Texas to Michigan find my truck and be back in less time than that.
