Had an f350 that had a similar problem. It ended up being a pinched wire in the main harness. It spent a lot of time in different dealers service areas before a factory rep found it

Answers... that will probably lead to more questions

Sorry for the delayed response, and thanks for the help!

Crystal, I currently have a little over 26,000 miles on my Raptor. My truck had less than 2,000 miles on it the first time it died without warning.

Yukon Joe,
No wrench symbol shows on my dash and I don't have any modifications on my truck, it is 100% stock.

Stepside,
I am taking my truck back to the dealership this week to leave with them while I'm on a 10 day hunting trip. I drove a 96 GMC 1500 before I bought my Raptor.... quite the upgrade! I love my new truck, I just want it to work like it should, all the time. I will pass on your thoughts to my dealership, thanks for your suggestions. And how would I know if I have any monitors plugged into the OBDII? What is the OBDII?

Skyscraper,
They are great guys at the dealership, but I agree this problem appears to be above their abilities.

Az Scooter,
I have only basic mechanical skills and understanding, but that has been my most logical suspicion.... and my biggest fear is that it will take lots of time to find and fix this problem. I live 2.5 hours from my dealership so it is not easy to find time to get my truck there and pick it up with a busy schedule.

Thank you everyone for your time, I really hope that my truck gets fixed soon!!!

Thanks for following up, nickybarra. Send me a private message (PM) with your info so I can look into this further. I'll need your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, mileage, and servicing dealership.
