If they can make 50+HP more and price it $8K-$10K cheaper than the Raptor, it will succeed. Ford is overpricing the Raptor IMO.

how many times have we drove a new vehicle off the lot for 8-10k under MSRP? ADM’s are a symptom of a free market. Careful what we wish for, if we force them to stop ADM’s, then it also will stop them from selling under MSRP. Price controls suck!

Counter to that, MSRP is overinflated in itself to make you think you're getting the deal of the century getting that $8-10k off. New vehicles are not running off the lot (in a paying customers hand) without plenty of profit to be made ESPECIALLY on the top trims where the margin is meatiest (*Looks at Raptor R). Then take into account the amount of stuff people are convinced to buy in the finance office, or the infiltration many receive when they get their trade in value (then resell with hefty profit). The dealer literally has at least 3-4 different ways in any combination to get over on you.

TL;DR: The house wins regardless of how much MSRP you shave off.
