Towing the boat yesterday and I stopped for a minute and my coolant overflow was leaking onto the ground. Checked the hoses and everything was good. The fluid in the overflow was bubbling (hopefully not boiling). Got the boat home and rechecked and everything looked good.

Was a weird experience.

Have the radiator cap checked to make sure it is maintaining the pressure inside the cooling system.
It looks like your coolant is boiling and overflowing the expansion tank; once the engine is off and cooling down the fluid in the expansion tank is being drawn back in the radiator, lowering the level in the tank.

well I know you all say it can't be in the tune but I put the stock tune in the truck for 3 weeks now and have been driving the hell out of the truck with no overflow issues at all the only time I have noticed an issue is when I put in the tune from 5 star doesn't matter if I use the eco tune or the performance tune. my truck doesn't like the tune it lunges at idle and just doesn't feel right at all. so I'm using the stock tune and just use the handheld for getting codes. don't know if it's just my truck or not it just doesn't like the can tunes. I might take and get it dyno tuned at some point but then again I might just keep it stock and drive it that way less issues.

Good to know you have found the issue. My $.02. You paid for the tunes and the tuner for that matter, I would call 5 Star and see if they can send you new tunes. Dealing with hardware and software, shit happens and breaks. I would take another bite at the apple...

Good luck!

yea I paid for them but I think unless they can take readings from the truck I won't put another tune on the truck. my last car I had it tuned but that was a dyno tune. which now is the only way I'll get a tune from now on that way I know everything is working the way it's suppose to wish HP had a tuner for the raptor I had it for my corvette and it was awesome I could record what the car was doing and make adjustments so it would run perfect.

Agreed Dyno Tune is leap years better than any aftermarket canned tuned. Pound for pound $ for $ the tunes from 5 Star are by far user friendly for our trucks and the services is great. SCT and 5Star make a great team

Either way I would be interested to see how things turn out with a custom tune...

That's your opinion which is great. But me personally I hate the 5 star tune in my truck it ran horrible.
