Race seats with airbag sensors

These guys might be able to help, at least you can shunt your current seats so they won't pop from static electricity.

The other thing about the replacing seats, I think the OE seats have positions / weight sensors, which could change the deployment time of the front airbags

They do. I the seat is all the way back and down it shuts off. I wanted them to just be on. No setting or anything

All factory air bag connectors are shunted on the airbag side. It's standard practice on any make or model.

I don't know about raptors but I know in the Corvette. You can buy a plug that simulates having the airbag in the seat so everything works as is suppose to well except the seat airbag you removed by putting in the new seats. I don't know what kind of connector the raptor has on it but I bet you can find a plug that does the same thing as the ones on the vette
