I really want to change my stock seats to some Corbeau suspension seats. My only worry is the airbag sensors. What will the airbags do if there is no seat plugged in?

I would think hat if it's not plugged in it would activate the airbags if you were in an accident. I don't know if it would throw any kinda weird lights or anything. You could just remove the sensors and the airbags and save a little weight haha

They have a resistance that the system looks for. You need to find out what it is, make or buy one and plug it in. You will have no airbag light. I will look to see if its changed but it used to be a 1 ohm resistor.

What hock said. Replace with a resistor, no light and the others will still go off. When you partially remove air bags like the seat and it creates a fault, there's no guarantee that the others will go off properly or go off at all in a wreck.

Ya talked with you about your twisted stitch seats and how you installed them. I just want the airbags to work if I crash.

Does your passenger airbag light stay on?

I'm probably going to pull the dash and wheel bags out though.

Ok. If the light are on then none of the airbags will deploy.

I'll just hae the seats redone. I'm wanting something similar to this. First quote was around 200 a seat minus the quilting.
