Some ideas: make sure your heated seat works, do you have remote start? (if not, get it). Spray a couple cans of fluid film under the truck, especially the rocker panels and anything behind the drive shaft, including the inside of the rear bumper, (drop your spare and spray up there, everywhere). Get winter windshield fluid and check your anti-freeze as well. I have a block heater, but rarely plug it in, unless its really cold. You can either get winter wiper blades or lift them away from the windshield every night. Have fun in the snow though, it's a blast.

I don’t think I have used a search feature on a forum in quite a while. I typically go to a search engine and type the question with ford raptor forum behind it.

Search tidbit since the search on FRF is less than desirable.
Go to google and type something like this
Site:FordRaptorForum.com cold weather

Putting site: and then the website will make Google search that website.
Try it!

I live in the Midwest, never did anything to the underbody of a vehicle other than a wash.
Drive in 4A when it’s rain/ snow.
Weather mode if you’re nervous,
Mud/sand mode in deep snow for fun. (2018)

I agree. 4A indicates you have Gen2. I think OP has Gen1. My Gen1 came from MO by way of S. Dakota And is starting to show rust in the driver cab corner.

I will probably be looking at having it cut out and replaced, then heavily diving into fluid film or something similar.

I put fluid film on for the first time this year and damn it stinks! Don’t spray it or park it in a garage for a good couple days after. Here is a picture of the stuff if that is helpful to you at all.
