Yes, please send some in-progress shots over if it's not too much trouble.
Thanks man, you've been a great help.
I'm quite a novice when it comes to suspension/wheel setup.
Just trying to decode what you're saying here. =)
KHC slot delete = https://krazyhousecustoms.com/gen-1-ford-raptor-slot-delete-kit/ ?
From what I can read up on, the kit supports the mounts for the lower control arms, but also removes the alignment option from the lower control arm, and pushes them to the outer most position.
But then I would also have to get adjustable upper control arms for alignment?
This pushes the front wheels out a bit, right? But what about the rear tires, don't you need something to push them out as well?
I can't seem to get hold of Method wheels here in sweden, but there are a couple of other options.
I think the offset on the raptor stock wheels is 34mm. These are 30mm ET.

Do you think they might fit with BFG KO2 37s on them?
Also, these are 9" instead of 8.5", would that be a problem or is it just better to get more rim to that massive tire? =)

Thanks,
Dave
Hey Dave, run through my thread for building to fit 39s it will show you a lot of in progress for fenders and kHc slot delete. I’m running icon stage 4 suspension. Ignore the cutting of the firewall on my thread you will not have to do that for 37s

Funny you mention these, I just got the call from RPG that my fenders are ready for pickup. If you give me another month or so, I can probably have some information about the fitment/setup of the fiberwerx +2.5” fenders for you.

Whoa!
That's quite a rebuild!
I guess you're never "done" with the truck, just more or less happy with the current setup. =)

No it really is not noticeable it still stops pretty good and takes off from a stop good also it's well worth it more ground clearance

Awesome! Have you had any issues with braking, since the rotational mass has increased? Or is it not noticable?
if you go up to 37s it can be worth just getting a nicer set of drilled and slotted rotors, with nicer pads. if your not up for breaks i wouldnt worry about it, but next time you go to do a brake job it would be worth doing

Hey!
A small update.
I got a sweet deal on a pair of new stock shocks. Installed them over the weekend.
Also got the SPC cam kit installed at the alignment.
The truck rides great now!
Thanks for all the help.
Next stop is 37's and new wheels. Looking at the fifteen52 TurboMac HD.
They would be sick with 37's I think.

Sorry for the late reply to my previous comment, been a little busy these past few weeks. So everything that PorterW1111 has stated is spot on. A couple of things that I’ve learned from my experience with the Fiberwerx 2.5’s:

-They fit terrible. Like all aftermarket fiberglass, fitment is not 100% and you will spend a ton of time getting these mocked up to fit even close to stock.

-You have to cut out/reuse the headlight supports from your stock fenders, or fab up some new ones (this is the route my body guy and I went with).

Now all that being said, do I regret them? Nope, not at all. I knew what I was getting into when I clicked “add to cart” (thanks RPG!), and I had somebody lined up to help me with the install if I couldn’t do it all myself (I couldn’t). If you have any more questions or want to see more pictures of fitment, how we shimmed them, etc. please let me know.

Good luck!
