Anyone have a clue on when they may begin to release more info on the gen 3? And when the preorder process will begin? Maybe based on passed gen 2 rollouts thought some of you may have had experience with this. My buddy at the local Ford dealership doesn’t have a clue but I’m at the tip of the list for when they can order. Thanks in advance!

Based on gen 2, it would have been late next year as a MY2023, so that’s already way wrong. Your guess is as good as anyone’s.

Thanks man. I know it’s probably a ridiculous question but again I wasn’t sure how the roll out worked when it went from Gen 1 to Gen 2 and if it could possibly follow a similar timeline. Thanks for the input

Only Ford knows. I really want to know more details and pricing too. It looks like it still going to be months before they give anything else up as far as pricing. I for one want to know what the official horsepower and torque numbers are for the HO Ecoboost.

It's all speculation but if they're calling it a 2021 I think they're going to have to get them out before September. They typically start to role out the next model year around then. I thought I read it would be available this summer so I would guess that means early summer and therefore pricing in April-ish. Again, my opinion supported by absolutely nothing.

That seems logical. Summer starts on June 20th and ends on September 22nd. It wouldn’t surprise me if they did hold out till the first part of September... or if they delay them like they did with the Bronco.

Must be pretty soon because the dealer I ordered my Gen 2 from last year called me and asked me if I would be interested in the first one they order
