Question on Shelby Raptor Pricing

What NickPick said. It's well documented what Shelby is charging for the options and it's not $4000. If you are OK with a base Raptor then you can turn it into a Shelby for $4000 more than a fully loaded Raptor.

we are dancing around the issue. for 61k the op would be paying full pop msrp for a stripped raptor. the 57k raptor he sees on the lot are loaded. so no discount on the shelby raptor package or the stripped raptor from ford. he gets a whipple ,exhaust, and intake. the rest is a bunch of vinyl decals, ect. for my money add the whipple and 3.0 shocks,and turn that bad boy loose..lot of money left for gas, warranty ect. most here are paying 50 to 52 for real nicely loaded rigs. so loaded plus whipple about 59k . ok rip me apart i can take it...

no options checked. 801a ,beadlocks,rear camera,bedliner, moonroof, graphics,tailgate step, bed extension , all the up charges for options we see on the dealers lots. have yet to see a raptor set up like that at any dealer. that said a screw stripped is still pretty darn nice.

Long story short... Base Rap is what, $43k, for a scab. That $61k to Shelby gets you the whipple, exhaust, etc. in a scab with no extras. No moon roof, 801a, etc. So realistically you're paying about $17k to Shelby for a whipple, exhaust, and some badges.

Look at the accessories list someone posted. Correct me if I'm wrong but they are using ADD bumpers and chase racks but yet it all says Shelby this or Shelby that. It's almost worse than hennessey using a roush supercharger and slapping a hennessey cover over it.

I think a super base s/cab raptor with all performance mods would be pretty cool. No stickers or interior crap.
