Question on cam phaser repair

How much does the cam phaser job cost? I purchased my 2019 f150 limited from a Ford dealership and didn’t know that start up sound would was not normal until today. What are my options?

Mine was covered under ESP luckily. But Ive heard anywhere from $3-6k depending where you take it.

Mine was as well with a $100 deductible. I had 61250 miles and the dealer said it was pro-rated from 60k miles, if I didn't have the ESP.

With my aftermarket warranty. I am only paying $100 deductible. Warranty company will be paying $3890 for cam phaser repair, new water pump and thermostat.

What aftermarket warranty do you have?

My '17 is at 74,*** miles and got quoted $2,300 - $3,000 for the cam phasers (not including chain, guides, etc.) job at local Ford dealer....Would've been free if it had less than 60,000 miles.

Not actually sure. The dealership threw it in when I bought my truck.

Same dealership threw it in when i bought the truck. Its called west coast assurance got their platinum package
