So I am trying to do a DIY tailgate lock on my 13 Raptor.

I really want the tailgate to unlock with the passenger side door not the drivers side.

I've tried

Brown/Gray to Violet/Grey....I've gotten that to work one way but not the other. It'll lock not unlock.

Brown/gray to Blue/Green opens and locks with the driver side door.

Anyone have any suggestions on where I am going wrong?

Yeah thats where I am looking in the passenger side kick channel. I've found 4 different grey/purples now with no luck still. Must be a 5th wow this is confusing! lol

I cant remember the color of the wire for the passenger door but what I did was take the passenger door panel off, traced the wires from the door latch and followed those wire and did my "tap" behind the body control module behind the passenger kick panel. I tried my best to make my modifications undetectable to anyone of they were lookin at my truck.

Busa,

Do you mean the fuse panel on the passengers side? forgive me im a little bit of a noob at this. Im not quite sure what you mean by pin locations I did find a harness near that fuse box on the passengers side its got a grey/purple that again gives me lock but no unlock. and about 4 other wires that all do the same >.<

I feel like something is telling me to give up as much as I don't want to. I did find the driver side unlock wire I was just really hoping to get it to work with the passenger side door.

Edit: OKAY! Now I think I understand you mean the BCM thats the ********* box in that kick panel, where exactly would these pins be though? I see fuses in there.

Yeah I wind up just going with the blue/green and grey/brown, it opens with my drivers door which I wasnt really going for but I looked everywhere and cannot find that purple/grey I basically gave up. too many distractions and rain and all kinds of crap.

Thanks for the help everyone I might just switch my locks to the one click open maybe that'll make it seem better. I was really hoping to have it open the the passenger door but like I said I cannot for the life of me find this wire.

Again thanks for everyone's effort I do appreciate your time.
