I would stay away from Duratracs. I had two sets on my Tundra and I'm so glad it's/they're gone. Terrible road noise and the death wobble is REAL. Those tires have a mind of their own and do strange things at random times. Snow traction was decent but I wouldn't call them super amazing as people in the reviews seemed to have sold me on. I can't comment on KO2s as I just picked up my Raptor but an old set of KO's I ran many years ago were great in the snow.

Can’t say for sure yet but went with wildpeak at3ws because of the good winter reviews and I’ve had them on previous trucks (in Florida), I’ll come back and comment after this first winter in Utah lol

I've found them fine. Everyone is all over the place when it comes to tires though. It's all a personal preference. Try and if you like it, fine, if not, get a snow set.

Isn't that the truth. My KO2s are at the end of their life at 25K and I've been thinking about what to replace them with. I am unhappy that they only lasted 25K but everything else about them has been solid. I come on here to read tire suggestions and for every positive comment about a tire someone else hated them. Either every tire is fine or they all suck.

So I've got to start thinking of our impending Winter that will be upon us all too soon. What does the Illuminati say regarding snow tires? Are the KO2's good enough? Any new snow tire coming out for this year? As usual, TIA for any help and remember, ****** said you have to answer!

If you want to drive around on ice like it's dry and sunny out and you have no skills driving in snow and ice- then yes, definitely get snow tires.

Otherwise, I don't see how anyone with good winter driving skills could have issues in snow or ice with BFG KO2s on a 4WD truck. I learned to drive in snow in a stick shift 2WD pickup truck with an open diff on half worn out all season street tires- so putting snow tires on a full size 4WD truck with AT tires seems pretty over the top to me.

That's the problem, a guy with a brand new raptor with ko2's on it is asking about snow tires. Put chains on it, if you can't make it through the starbucks drive thru, or better yet, park the vehicle and take transit.

Ha, ha. No, I donated 2.2 mil dollars to add on to the local hospital to build 2 hermetically sealed emergency rooms with the understanding the Raptor get's one for the winter.

This made me chuckle loudly at work.... pretty sure ppl are tired of seeing me surfing FRF and laughing lol.
