Still waiting for someone to name one quality part on a Raptor made by Ford.

The suppliers develop and build the parts. Then they ship them back to the automakers, where they assemble our trucks.

I couldn’t agree more with both statements…that your truck is a pos and it’s not worth 50k. Since we’re on the same sheet here, sell it to me for less than 50K. Meanwhile, you find another truck that’s Yoshi worthy. Pm for arrangements…patiently waiting my friend.

My pos 37 looks like that. Sure these aren't made in someone's garage. Truck is not worth 50k. Subpar quality on every part of the truck. Name one quality component on a gen 3 made by Ford. Corrosion on all aluminum parts, rusted parts, missing features, cheap ass leather wrinkled seats, cheap carpet looks like it was torn by hand, crap ass radio, poor paint quality, misaligned body panels, exposed electrical wiring, etc. Only good thing it has going is performance and resale value.

I love my 22, 37 PP, but I also agree with most of the issues you've listed. Every new vehicle out there is overpriced. It simply comes down to which overpriced vehicle you're willing to buy.

There isn't a perfect vehicle made, which is why many of us swap cars and trucks more frequently than is economically prudent. Such is life, either accept the shortcomings, or make a stand. Both decisions have consequences. Did I mention I love my Raptor?

I get really tired of hearing people trash manufacturers over rising prices. It isn't the product that's more expensive, it's that the dollar is worth less because stupid criminals pissed the value away. Used gen 2s are not more valuable than they were new. They're worth less, much less. That it takes more dollars to buy one isn't relevant to that. Thanks Uncle Joe. Thanks Congress. </rant off>

My guess is that the parts were made incorrectly, maybe a bad spec, maybe supplier error. Then some clever manufacturing engineer figured out a hand process where the parts could be modified and used so as to keep the line running. As long as they're safe and work properly, life is good. Only the most ánál and OCD owner would notice or care. Looks like they flushed a couple out of the brush for us.
