I paid mine off in 20 months, and have enjoyed every minute in the truck; so I have no plans to buy a 2022 Gen 3 Ecoboost. Can’t stand the front end…..I may be convinced to buy a 2nd year of the Raptor R though.

I thought about doing this too a few months ago. My CU that I use won't do a cash out vehicle loan right now because of the pandemic. Too bad because rates are crazy low right now and lots of other opportunities to beat that rate and make money elsewhere.

I sold my truck to givemethevin.com 3 weeks ago. I couldn't pass up $28K equity. Although I loved the Raptor for the last 2 years that I owned it, I have a 2021 (or2022) Bronco Badlands on order. I’ll have a nice downpayment for the Bronco.

Until the Bronco arrives, I’m leasing a 2021 Lexus IS 350. My monthly payment is half of what I was paying for the Raptor. At least now I have the proper car for the Starbucks drive through. ;)

You should have kept the Raptor. For every dollar you put toward the monthly's you would get at least a dollar back when you get rid of it. Now your just throwing away money on a lease.;)

Interesting, I have a 2019 802A paid for and only 2 1/2 years until retirement.

I guess I could borrow $30,000 against it and buy a lot of silver since either China's money might replace the dollar or the dollar collapses altogether which is possible the way they're printing money and a few years ago I believe the US treasury stated that by 2024 the US wouldn't be able to even pay for the interest owed soooo.....Silver may very well go through the roof.

I could even take more out and purchase some land as well.

These ridiculous prices for used trucks will not last forever. What goes up must come down. I’m happy with my decision
Prices must come down? Inflation says otherwise.

No biggie, it's all just play money now anyway. I don't think there are any real wrong decisions right now. Anything could happen. It's just interesting to think about.
