My truck has 2400 miles. @BoostCreep any change for you?

Met with shop foreman and Ford engineer this afternoon. Engineer is a sharp guy, he heard the noise. He said he was going to do some additional investigating. I feel like it was a good use of time, going on 28 days at dealership now, I just want to enjoy the truck.

Hopeful somebody resolves soon, I do agree it’s an issue at scale and likely in the early stages of discovery of bad manufactured part etc.

Is everyone experiencing this aside from boost a late 24 build?
I’m not sure if this is a temperature or humidity thing but I’m at 4,900 miles now and have done two oil changes, and mine has gotten quieter when it does happen and now doesn’t happen every time anymore. When I used the stethoscope it was coming from the front of the passenger head area on top where the cams and valves are. But who knows.

Ford has marked it as a normal engine characteristic and is not doing further diagnosis or repair.

Normal for a ford no matter what you pay for it or call it it’s still a ford going to make noise . All mine did the same thing on about # 11 even my favorite. Still better than the GM or Dodge .
