Pulley/belt squeak

I’ve driven many cars over the years and I’ve never heard any other engine make that noise. I’m not sure how you claim that offensive sharp chirp sound is normal.

If it’s normal then they should be able to tell you what it is. What part is making this “normal” sound.

My worry with this is that they may just say it’s part of the way the engine sounds. The hellcats have the hemi chirp that is caused by the way the headers are designed and they just tell everyone it is what it is.

But Ram at least knew what the sound was. In this case they’re just claiming it’s normal, which is unlikely since I’ve had two 24R’s, one made the sound and one did not.

Ok so I drove up to dealer I bought mine from. They have a new 24 on the lot. Makes the same noise.
