I don't know what prices are like generally in TX, but for a shop you have no 'connection' to for full removal, paint, and clear... I think $800 would be a fair price. I know it would here in Cali, body/paint shops can be outrageous.

I fortunately had a connection to get it done.

Cool...a local Houston guy had it done for $800 so it's a connection. Just wanted to make sure it was fair. Thanks.

No problem. Another nice thing about having a connection is you know the job will be done well. If you have the funds, go for it. Pics don't do it justice.

For sure. This was one of the very first mods I planned on doing. I really don't like the plastic on these trucks. Especially on black.

As long as you like it that's all that matters.

But I'll throw my $0.02 in here - I think it makes your Raptor look like a standard, run-of-the-mill F150 FX4.

No worries, definitely to each their own. I will say that pics really don't do it justice, in person the flares are much more defined looking than in the pics.

There's a lot of FX4's around here, and trust me, there's definitely no mistaking the 2 in person. haha :head3:

Now you have to get rid of the blue oval and paint the camera housing. I got the billet oval from one of the threads (black and grey ) it was easy and makes a big difference.

Looks great !!!!

I'll check that out... though I've got black wheels on order and I'm not sure I want the 100% murdered look. lol...

A few spots of chrome/other colors might be necessary. haha
